Red velvet has gained new popularity lately. No longer limited to cake, recipes for red velvet donuts, red velvet pancakes, and red velvet macaroons abound. That eye-catching red finally caught me.

I found this recipe for red velvet cheesecake brownies on The Novice Chef. I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out beautifully.Just make sure you don’t over bake them. The edges of mine were a bit dry and tasteless, but the moist center was yummy! Find the recipe here.
